  32. dHUNTINGTON BEACH, California --April 1, 1994-- ResNova Software, Inc. releases NovaLink Professional
  33. j(NLP) 3.1. Beyond AppleSearch, NovaLink Professional 3.1 is capable of backing up the entire server in the
  34. fbackground. In fact, NLP can backup the contents of the server to another drive on the network without
  35. linterruptions to on-line users (the speed and convenience of backing up a BBS system has never been easier).
  36. tNovaLink 3.1 supports true telnet connections without the need for third party telnet tools (the only software to do
  37. othis on the Macintosh). Internet users can telnet into a NovaLink server and navigate the same way as modem and
  38. bLAN clients. Above all, NovaLink supports high speed modems including ISDN and switch 56. With the
  39. PCreative Solutions' Hustler card, NovaLink can support baud rates of up to 128K.
  40. jResNova introduces a new international electronic communications network, NovaWorld. NovaWorld is a simple
  41. lto use, yet very powerful wide area network of BBS systems. NovaWorld includes integration into the Internet
  42. rand Fidonet, multi-hop mail routing, shared message forums and file libraries, and multiple interface options (Mac
  43. $GUI, RIPscrip, TTY, VT100 and ANSI).
  44. aOther notable releases include MenuMaker
  45.  3.1 - a Mac to RIPscrip graphics conversion program and
  46. iNovaUtilities
  47. - a program that optimizes the system's file structure. MenuMaker allows NovaLink sysops to
  48. lcreate a custom graphic interface on their Macintosh and convert those Macintosh image into RIPscrip images.
  49. jAdditionally, Menu Maker defines the mouse clickable regions for both Mac and PC users. With Menu Maker, a
  50. =multi-platform custom graphical BBS system is easy to design.
  51. hResNova now offers an economy base package for $100.00. This package includes one serial connection, ten
